Why ProQ Was Created

Progressive Intelligence was born from decades of observing a hidden pattern across industries: most organizations do not fail because of lack of opportunity. They fail because leadership capacity stops evolving.

As companies scale, complexity compounds, communication fractures, emotional pressure rises, operational chaos increases, and strategic clarity deteriorates. Traditional leadership systems attempt to solve this with more productivity, more management, more software, or more pressure.

Thomas MacDonald is the founder of the Progressive Intelligence movement and the creator of the ProQ™ adaptive intelligence architecture. Over the last three decades, he has worked across retail, home services, consulting, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, and high-growth organizational development — helping leaders transform operational chaos into scalable strategic growth.

Over a 30+ year career, Thomas has launched and scaled nine ventures, helped generate more than $82B in new revenue impact, and supported the growth and transformation of more than 2,950 businesses.

Progressive Intelligence emerged from a deeper truth he kept observing: businesses cannot sustainably scale beyond the adaptive capacity of the people leading them.
